How to bag the designer look for cheap

Back once again with the Replica Master
(Sorry I had to)

If your someone who is like me that is madly obsessed with fashion and what is being thrown down the runway but you can't seem to grasp the price range when it comes dropping the coins then you have found the right spot.

Fashion is forever evolving, quicker than ever in history. Once something is on the runway everywhere else has grabbed it by their own hands and it's hanging up on a high street rack in a multitude of variations for a much cheaper price.

Here I show you the guide and rules for shopping designer, trendy replicas.

# 1- Buying cheap on eBay can be your friend.

Yes, there is a stigma that buying from eBay is a silly idea because it comes from china and it will be broken before it even reaches. Well, I'm sorry but I am here to rule that out straight away.
I've only bought, what I would call a designer replica on eBay once and it was an orange Vetements long sleeve top. It's not amazing quality as expected but it was still good and nice to wear and it only cost me £15.99 in like its inspiration which cost a tear dropping 500 odd pounds.
The thing you have to watch with replica's if you buy them from eBay or anywhere else, they are likely not going to be exactly the same. For example, my Vetements style jumper says Detements rather than vetements on the sleeve.

# 2- High street is just like designer

Once a season of fashion and trends is up you must check out and hunt around high street stores, specifically Topshop, H and M, Zara I find, as they tend to grasp a hold of the most popular trends and make up their own styles and versions of it. Topshop and H and M are really good at this.

For example just last week I bought a green long, oversized jumper with pink font down the sleeves. Sound familiar?

# 3- The more money the better it will be

I know the whole point of this post is to be able to understand how to get the designer style for cheaper or if you are on a budget but let's be honest the more it costs, generally the better the piece is likely to be. Buying a replica on eBay is all good but it will only be a cheap material copy and likely won't last you long, it's better for if you only want to wear it once rather then more often.

I really recommend Topshop for this. As much as I hate Topshop for their quality and just general work ethic I must give it to them because they produce some amazing designers and at times I walk and feel I want to buy the whole shop. They are pricey in my opinion but if you want a lasting designer inspired piece then this is the place to go.

#4- Just have fun and don't bother about anyone's opinion.
This is my last but also most important point. Some people don't seem to like it when you wear designer replicas rather than the real. Well not all of us can afford it so I just tell them to stick up the arse to be blunt ah hahaha. I just want to say just have fun with clothes and fashion whether it be super cheap or super expensive not matter the price just have fun expressing yourself through clothes and fashion.
It's definitely a motto that I have tried to stick to more recently but,

Dress for yourself and not for others.

I hope you enjoyed this post and comment below what is your fashion and style motto.

Style Diaries #1

#1

I have wanted to do something like this for a while so I thought I would start off with a style diaries where I write all about my style and other related things such as fashion tips and hacks and how I style things and trend try. ( you get the idea)

I wanted the first post to be a Q and A style post on my style just to start it off.

Who are your style and fashion inspiration?
Mostly I am inspired by Rihanna when it comes to fashion, especially styling because she and her stylist create some the most unique ways of just wearing clothes. I don't think you could really understand unless you are mad about fashion but she just looks flawless.

What is your favourite piece of clothing to wear?
My favourite piece of clothing to wear is probably, not that exciting, is the grey-marl sweatshirt. Its actually from the menswear section in Primark and it was on the sale which makes it even better. I bought it in an XL so it is super baggy. I am really loving the french brand, Vetements at the minute with that oversized baggy and distorted silhouette which many designer seams to be grasping onto and this I feel is a perfect version of that.

How would you describe your style?
Really?? I haven't got a clue hahaha. My style is a bit of mish-mash of everything. I feel the clothes I wear and even when I go clothes shopping all depends on my mood. One minute I feel like being girly, which is hardly ever really, and then sometimes, in fact, most of the time I like to be quite simple but smart. I love my oversized shirts and my black skinny jeans with a smart suede boot but I like dresses that are not too fussy, simple silhouette, if it has a pattern then I go for plain ones.
My style has definitely picked its way through as of recently though but being only 18 I'm pretty sure I've got a long why till I find exactly what my style is.

Who is your favourite designer/brand?
I really love Alexander Mcqueen, I mean who doesn't really hahaha hahaha. But recently my favourite designer has been the house, called Vetements which I mentioned earlier. I just love their silhouette and design process. I feel they are probably the designer of this era so far.

What your are favourite high street stores to shop?
My favourite high street store has to be Zara. It's like my second home, once I'm in, I'm never coming out. I just end up loving everything it's amazing. But as well this I love H and M, they are could at keeping their clothes trendy and in with the current styles while still catering for everybody and their different styles. I love going to Topshop but as of recently, I have tried not to buy anything because I have hate for their quality of their clothes. I love their clothes and could buy the whole store sometimes but everything I have bought from them has not lasted long, it has never ripped, stretched out, or like their jeans they fade and then if you don't have a thigh gap like me the inside of jeans rip. I used to buy joni jeans all the time but it came to the point where I couldnt afford £34 every month to replace them.

I hope you enjoyed this and if you have any ideas or post you want me to do in this series let me know in the comments below, thank you.

My Top 3 fashion bloggers

My Top 3 Favourite Fashion Bloggers

Nini Nguyen

I followed Nina for a while even before she had her beautiful baby and I have loved watching her style and all her outfits that she posts both on blogger and on her Instagram ( @ ninistyle )

The reason I fall in love with her posts every time is because I feel she thinks really innovativaly about how to put an outfit together and the pieces she does pick and wear are always different but they look so simple. That's the general vibe I get with her style well thought out but simple and classic. Something I try and aspire to when I progress my own style and clothing.

Samantha Maria

Again another person I have been following for a while +Samantha Maria ,  she started on youtube first I believe before blogger which is where I found her. She now has an amazing blog and I love looking and re-reading all her blog posts, even if they are not specifically fashion I still love them.

I love Samantha's style because I don't think I have seen someone dress so relaxed but effortless as she does. She definitely knows her fabrics and textures and knows what look good with what.
I like how she can take quite a statement pieces of clothing or even an accessory and really dress it well into an outfit if that makes any sense haha.

Sanda Hagelstam (5 inch and up)

I know Sandra as 5 inch and up so I always find it weird when I search her actual name aha ha. If you are a shoe addict you will know this girl really well. If you don't I'm pretty ashamed. She has a shoe collection to be envied by any girl you can think of including me. I would kill for the style she has.
She knows her shoes that well that she released a shoe collection with fashion brand, River Island.
